How to choose the perfect wedding dress for 2026!

A big dilemma is coming back into vogue: women who choose their beautiful, bulky, elaborate wedding dress but then get married in cramped spaces where the entire train cannot be opened.

Dresses chosen in an atelier, standing still on a pedestal, with the air conditioning... only to end up in a bath of sweat and stress when they realize it's 40° outside and maybe it wasn't a good idea.

The proverb says, "beauty requires suffering"... but are we sure that an unmanageable dress makes us look beautiful?

Heat, annoyance, discomfort, weight, and fatigue affect posture, sweating, movements, and above all, the expression, which will appear strained and suffering. A hunched and sweaty bride is not exactly a canon of beauty.

When should you choose a demanding wedding dress?

It's advisable to exclude the hot months, but if we truly cannot choose otherwise, perhaps consider these options:

• Mountain wedding, or cool and ventilated places even in the summer

• Historic villa, luxury hotel: air conditioning everywhere, shaded and calculated outdoor spaces, luxury and comfort, large halls in which to open and enhance the dress.
